BIIS Bike Week

As part of the BTEC curriculum and CAS activities our 6th Form pupils planned and facilitated our Primary School and EYU Bike Week. Every student took active role and enjoyed training primary students on bike safety. The most interesting part was at the bike track where they had to assist those who did not know how to ride. Well Done BTEC and CAS!!

Poetry and Pancakes

What a great way to end our first half; On Friday 26th May, children right from KS1 to KS5 recited poems of all kinds; funny poems, school poems, environment poems, friendship poems,... Parents and Guardians who came will agree with us that our children are confident individuals with eloquence of speech. The pancakes shared at the end of the sessions were, just as the poems, of all shapes and sizes but definitely much appreciated by all! Thank you for the amazing support, we are grateful.

Aberdare Swimming Gala

Six schools took part in the Aberdare Swimming Gala which took place on 20th May at our School. The busy day saw swimmers fight tooth to nail to accumulate points for their schools.

After the final whistle, BIIS proved to be a powerhouse as they carried the trophy as the overall winner with 367 points. Mt Kenya Academy finished second with 276 points while St Nicholas came in third with 160 points.

Well Done BIIS!!

Eye Screening

Thank you to ophthalmologists from Eye n U Ophthalmics who carried out eye tests on all pupils yesterday as part of our healthy living curriculum.

Pomp and Color During Prom

Last week Year 11 - 13 had fun as they celebrated "stepping down" for examination with an evening of red carpets, dancing and fun. We wish all pupils every success in their IGCSE, AS and A2 examination.
