The annual Nairobi Academy Maths challenge took place on 8th June 2018. We had 13 schools attending this competition. BIIS was represented by year 7's Janvi and Hanifa, and year 8's Maanav and Jay .
The competition involves a team challenge and an individual challenge. In the team challenge three schools took position one. This includes Braeburn Imani, Braeburn Gitanga and Hilcrest. After getting a tie breaker BIIS became 3rd Overall.
The icing on the cake was on the individual challenge that saw Maanav Shah from Braeburn Imani emerge the Champion.
Well done to Braeburn Imani for the great job!
